Farmacia Burchini [Burchini Pharmacy]

The pharmacy's date of foundation is uncertain. It is known to have occupied its current premises since 1927. Dating from that year are the furnishings, consisting of the sales counter and the shelves which, in keeping with tradition, cover three of the four walls of the sales area, forming a "U". At the corners, above the two doors opening in the shelves, are inscriptions taken from Ovid (Remedia amoris, v. 526): "Mille mali species - Mille salutis erunt" [literally: "A thousand are the forms of evil - A thousand will be the remedies"].
