Farmacia Ragionieri [Ragionieri Pharmacy]

The pharmacy was opened on September 28, 1882, by Ernesto Ragionieri, and since then it has never changed its location nor its ownership. From 1926 to 1937 it became a real pharmaceutical company. Starting from 1937 it was active in designing ceramic containers for pharmacies that involved numerous manufacturers in Sesto. The pharmacy possesses a very fine collection of ceramic and glass jars, some of them coming from the antique Lamucci Pharmacy of Sesto. The collection as a whole documents the types of pharmaceutical receptacles in use from the late 19th century through the first half of the 20th.
