Farmacia Reale [Royal Pharmacy]
Established during the years when Florence was the capital of Italy under the name "Mangarolo and Astoni Royal Pharmacy" on the premises of the diocesan curia of Fiesole, it still occupies the same site. Part of the original pharmaceutical apparatus has survived, including an interesting set of bronze mortars, as well as glass bottles with labels, jars, funnels, scales, and phials testifying to its past activity of preparing Galenic products.
