Farmacia Di Stefano [Di Stefano Pharmacy]

Built in 1898 by Dr. Padelletti along with the building whose ground floor it still occupies, the pharmacy, although its ownership has changed several times, has kept the original furnishings dating from the year of its foundation, marked on a corner shelf. The shelves are ivory-coloured wood, the glass-fronted cabinets black with gold inscriptions. In keeping with the frescoed decoration on the ceiling, they are decorated in Neo-Mannerist style with masks made of stucco and painted in gold. At the centre of the ceiling, a rosette opens out into a garland of flowers with grotesque motifs.
