World War II bombings destroyed the main body of the eighteenth-century villa, leaving only the chapel, the farmhouse with its interesting sundial on the façade, and, especially, the park that conserves its nineteenth-century layout and is animated by sculptures, a gazebo, lemon-houses and tree-lined lanes. Today known as "Parco della Pace", the garden has been recently rehabilitated for cultural and social use.
