Raccolta Archeologica di Borgo a Mozzano [Borgo a Mozzano Archaeological Collection]
The collection was formed in 1975 after the discovery, in the previous year, of the Ligurian tomb at Pian della Rocca. It consists of archaeological findings coming from the territory of the Commune and adjacent areas. In 1995 a naturalist collection, coming from the local elementary school, was added. Occupying a room in the basement of the Town Hall, the Museum has a predominantly educational and conservational function. The naturalist collection consists of several minerals and some assembled osteological remains of wild and domestic animals representative of the local fauna.
