Villa Poggio Torselli Garden

The villa was constructed by order of the Machiavelli family in the 15th century, and in the course of centuries has had various owners. The garden was planted towards the end of the 17th century, and still today presents various characteristic elements, including dwarf fruit trees, old roses, aromatic herbs and a collection of potted citrus trees. Also noteworthy are the splendid greenhouse and the irrigation system made starting from a system of conduits in pietra serena. The villa and garden have recently been renovated.
