Compound microscope built by Nachet & Fils. The foot supports the rectangular stage. Above the stage the pillar contains the fine focus screw. Coarse focus is by moving the tube guided by a helical slit in the sleeve. A bull's eye lens is mounted on an articulated arm attached to the tube. There are four eyepieces and two objectives. Belonged to the Gabinetto degli Invertebrati of the Istituto di Studi Superiori of Florence.
