This reflecting telescope of the Gregorian type was one of the first to be equipped with an equatorial mount. The instrument consists of a large metal tube fitted with a converging eyepiece. The very wide horary circle carries a scale graduated in hours. The focusing system consists of a rod that, when rotated by the observer, shifts the objective. Made by James Short.
