Son of Alessandro Guiducci and Camilla di Jacopo di Cappone (Capponi), he was born in Florence in 1585. He graduated in law from the University of Pisa, was enrolled in the Academy of the Crusca and the Florentine Academy, which he headed in 1618, and in 1625 headed the Academy of Lincei. He died in Florence on November 5, 1646, and was buried in the church of Ognissanti.
