"Isabella" Woods
The arrangement of tree species in this park, created in the late 19th century, was done by attorney Odoardo Luchini, a lover of botanical sciences, who dedicated it to his wife Isabella Andreucci. The various species from many parts of the world include sequoias, yews, cedars of Lebanon, cedars, lindens, chestnuts, elms, horse chestnuts, maples, poplars, turkey oaks and laurels. It is but a small example of the many natural botanical beauties that can be found in the province of Siena.
