Compound microscope made by Koristka. The brass horseshoe foot (similar to those of German microscopes) supports a rigid pillar with a rectangular stage. Below the stage is an adjustable mirror and a condenser fitted with a diaphragm. Coarse focus is by sliding the body-tube in its sleeve. Fine focus is by turning a knob. Belonged to the Gabinetto degli Invertebrati of the Istituto di Studi Superiori of Florence.
